She's had MANY sex partners, including several of his friends. He claims they didn't have sex, just got each other off...whatever that entails...so could he have some STD that he could pass to our son via sharing the same drink or what not? Our son is 5 & autistic so telling him to not drink after is dad is something I try to teach him, but doesn't necessarily get through to him. BTW, this has NOTHING to do with me still having any sort of feelings for my ex. I left him. Her method of choice is injection.

Hepatitis B can be transmitted like this but it's not that common. If you are particularly concerned about HIV (who isn't these days?) then no, there is no danger. I do not believe he didn't have sex with her -assuming he was (cough-cough) "able " to,(why else would he not, while so many did?) but unknown factors are how well she protects herself/ others and even if she does have one, which one(s), and if he got one did he get treated or not? I don't think you have to worry about this except under the most extraordinary circumstances. Just keep an eye on your son for any health related changes, as you normally would. If you are certain that the woman is more than likely a health disaster, and you want to be reassured, ask your doctor which STDs could conceivably be passed on. I think you'll find the list short or nil.

Doesn't seem likely. Unless the STD she has is smallpox or something.

First off good for you! you left him! stds are not passed by mouth. if he has hiv be careful. its a proven fact that std can be passed oraly! or if he is bleeding and your son touches it and puts it in his mouth he would get hiv. make him go get tested if you can. best of luck to you.

Not unless he has sex with the kid.
